Note – if you are part of the Formpro greyhound pick 6 syndicate, we will have a small bet on today at Addington.

Good morning

Just a low key meeting of 12 races at Addington today.  Once again a few C0 races so not a lot of races where there is confidence along with value.

I’ve been through the fields two or three times and while there’s a couple I like, I just don’t have the confidence to make them strategy bets.

So no recommended bets for today.  Back tomorrow for the dual meetings at Addington and Palmerston North.

M3 Race 3 Sozin’s Symphony (6)

Happy to have a little play at around $3 but you wouldn’t want to see the price come in too much more.  It’s a field lacking real depth and a lot of these have had their chances and disappointed – only Sozin’s Sympathy and Opawa Pink (1) have won more than one race and three of those have rugged up 40 times or more!  What should give Sozin’s Symphony the edge is that Pink doesn’t like the inside.

Missed.  Was about half a stride from getting into clear air.  A much better run than the racebook will show.

M3 Race 7 Homebush Hotshot (5)

Cupid’s Day won for us last start and again looks well placed.  The one runner who could upset is Homebush Hotshot.  He has all the talent but is one of the most inconsistent dogs racing around.  He’s recently downgraded from C3 know back in C1 so he does have a class edge but not a confident bet.

First.  Got out nicely and was challenged on his outside but had the rail and the closing sectionals.  $9 nice price too.
